About Dental Cleanings
Even with a perfect home oral care routine, including flossing and brushing, tartar and plaque can still form around the dental enamel. This can cause cavities and bacterial infections and other problems. To ensure the teeth remain clean and healthy, Chicago, IL residents should have a dental cleaning at a minimum of twice a year at DentalWorks - Chicago Loop with our dentists. This is often referred to as a scale and polish. During a dental exam and cleaning, our dentists will use examination and cleaning devices to slowly remove plaque and tartar on the enamel. After the cleaning, the teeth will be polished with a buffer and any necessary dental treatments such as periodontal work or fillings will be discussed. Bi-annual dental cleanings are essential for preventing oral disease.

"My Experience here is great. Above that I’m a new patient. My original dentist is no longer available so I went looking for a new one close to work where I won’t have to leave work early and lose pay. The staff is amazing and beyond helpful and very forward on what is needed for me to take care of myself.UPDATE - I don’t publish feedback unless I mean it. So here it goes. They are still the best! 💪 ❤️ I was out for a year traveling for work and by keeping up with my health and using the necessary tools to stay healthy; as suggested, I was happy to come back for my check up and cleaning. The staff, as always, is Fabulous and the communication with patients is top notch! I recommend anyone who wants a new dentist!
